Congratulations to the 2007 award winner:
Ms. Heather Libonati LC, Principal, LUMINESCE
“I lose sleep over lighting sometimes…”
A self described “Lighting Nerd”, Heather embodies exactly the spirit Charlie Loch would have proudly embraced for this award. Heather has worked for prestigious Design firms on trophy projects, but that seems to be just the beginning. In her essay she describes her passion for lighting and her desire to communicate that excitement to all clients and industry. Heather established Luminesce in 2006 seeking clients to share her passion and commitment and from what we can see, is exporting her infectious attitude to all that come in contact.
Lighting Analysts is pleased to provide the 2007 Charlie Loch award to Heather and Luminesce and wish her the best of success.
Congratulations Heather!
Heather Libonati received her B.A. in Theater (Magna Cum Laude) from Loyola University in Chicago, and her M.F.A. in Theater Design from California Institute of the Arts. She has acted as an instructor for “Advanced Lighting Design” and “Tempering the Environment” courses at Southern California Institute of Architecture. Her designs have been published in Architectural Record andLD+A.
