Joel is the brilliance behind the Luxiflux brand and the original father of ElumTools. With his skills he keeps LAI on the latest technology creating a set of tools to enhance the industry. He has also contributed various features to the flagship AGI32, developed software for annual daylight simulation, and created the previous generation of Flash-based web tools. Joel served two summer internships before joining the team in 2004.
What does he love about lighting? More or less everyone is an expert in light and lighting. Few other shared experiences are as prevalent and fascinating, yet overlooked.
Joel is devoted to his family and values time with friends. He is an avid ultimate player, board game connoisseur, and likes the solitude of off-road camping. Reading and music are uptime favorites.
