Aaron Keil is a Lighting Engineer for Border States Electric. He first started his lighting and AGi32 journey at the Milwaukee School of Engineering where he graduated in 2012 with an Architectural Engineering Degree. Originally planning to be a structural engineer, he fell in love with the electrical field after taking several courses and being mentored by one of his professors. Since then, Aaron has worked on a large variety of projects including: commercial, residential, educational, medical, industrial/manufacturing, Utility, and DOT.
Aaron became a member of the IES in 2013 and most recently earned his LC in 2018. He lives in La Crosse, WI with his wife Mary, two dogs and two cats. He enjoys spending time remodeling their home, being outdoors and watching sports.
