Tips, Tricks and Treats! I'm sure you know that Daylight Transition Surfaces (e.g. windows) need to be facing INTO a room or space to work properly (transition light from the outside to the inside). However, did you know you can quickly check the orientation of all transition surfaces in Render Mode by enabling Transition Surface Vectors in Render-Display Properties?! Give it a try in your next daylight project! |
Tips, Tricks and Treats! Ever wanted to know how much light in an environment is reflected versus direct? Try this:
* After calculating in Render Mode, open Render-Display Properties and select; Pseudo Color, Illuminance, Apply Maximum (Illuminance) and Display Scale (click Preview to update the image).
* Now select Direct Only or Indirect Only and compare (click Preview to update the image)! |

Trick or treat?! Try this the next time you are working with multiple views in Model or Render Mode - In View Manager, select Cascade View Display. Maximize the views to full size and use Ctrl+Tab to move between the views! Watch this video to see it in action!
